VIU - Cultural Connections - Road Trips - McNab's Corn Maze & Bonfire

Trip Information

One of the most fun Fall activities you can do while you are in Canada. Explore the farm and pumpkin patch or take a hayride around the Corn maze. When it gets dark bring out your flashlight and see if you can make your way through the Maze. Food will be provided, but you may want to bring some other snacks, and some money if you wish to buy a pumpkin or rent some equipment. You may also want to bring some money for a donation if you want to walk though the haunted house next door. Dress for the weather, that usually means warm clothes and extras in case you fall into some mud (which does happen) you will also want to wear footwear that you don't mind getting muddy (like Gumboots)!

What to wear

  • Dress in weather appropriate clothing - warm layers, jackets
  • Rain coat - bring even if weather is warm and sunny
  • Warm pants - if you have waterproof pants you may want to bring them
  • Appropriate footwear - rubber boots recommended / shoes that you don't mind getting muddy

 What to Bring:

  • Umbrella
  • A change of socks, shoes, and pants - your clothes may get wet and muddy
  • Flashlight / headlamp
  • Water bottle
  • Money if you want to buy a pumpkin, rent boots or a flashlight
  • Donation if you want to see the Haunted House next door
  • A backpack to carry all your items
